Review

I've used many impact guns over the years of all makes and sizes. And I have to say this one is the best. Compared to the best Snap-On and Mac 1/2" impact wrenches this one is better in all areas and costs less! When I first picked it up I was immediately impressed with the light weight but concerned about power. After using a few times though it has almost as much power as some of my 3/4" wrenches! The controls are easy to use for right or left hand use even with gloves on. The only thing to consider with this model is it does use lots of air. For more frequent use a 2 stage compressor is a must.

I've had this impact for almost 8 years now. It still works as if it were new!

Over the years I've had to replace the trigger mechanism and directional buttons but that's about it. $20 or so in parts and this gun is still running strong.

My only complaint is that my anvil is starting to wear out and barely holds on to sockets anymore. I guess that's what happens when you use a 3/8" impact to do the job of a 1/2".

As all ir tools, this one is high quality. Very strong, light weight, stronger than the 231c most people get. The 231c is a very good impact, but this 2135ti or qti is a step up. Now they make a 2135timax, which is supposed to be a bit stronger, same weight I think. Like all ir tools, they are almost always worth repairing when they break or wear out, as opposed to most of their competetors, which when in need of repair, end up not being worth fixing, cost of repair being more or close to the replacement price. Spend a little more now, instead of getting cheap junk.
